HARINDU GUNAWARDENA is an accomplished entrepreneur and producer with a dynamic career that began in advertising. He successfully launched two startups in the digital marketing and advertising sectors, where he led numerous award-nominated and viral campaigns for major brands.

Coming from a family deeply rooted in cinema and media, Harindu's long-standing passion for storytelling led him to transition full-time into film. After relocating to London for postgraduate studies in film, he founded Rogue Element. Initially, the company aimed to address the lack of a commissioning body in Sri Lanka. However, recognizing the opportunity to introduce fresh and diverse narratives by integrating untapped South Asian backdrops, Harindu pivoted Rogue Element’s focus towards developing original content for the mainstream market.
